The picturesque district of Cootamundra is located half way between Sydney and Melbourne and possesses an appealing mix of country charm and city style. 'Cootamundra' is a corruption of the Aboriginal word "Gooramundra" meaning turtles, swamp or low-lying. Find out more about the Wiradjuri people, their language and their stories.

It is home of the Cootamundra Wattle Acacia Baileyana which is probably the best known of all cultivated acacias. The Wattle Time Festival is held during the month of August each year."Wattle Valley" on the Berthong Road, north of Cootamundra is a natural area where the wattles grow.

Sir Donald Bradman was born at 89 Adams Street Cootamundra,(then a small private hospital) and lived at Yeo Yeo for the first few years of his life.

We meet at the Cootamundra Ex Services & Citizens Memorial Club on the Thursday before the first Sunday.
Our regular ride day is the 1st Sunday of the month leaving from 'Beaurepaires' Parker Street 9am.
